After dropping 'Reality Through My Words' I decided to take some time to really focus on developing my own distinctive sound and style. Tabula Rasa stands for 'clean slate' in Latin, I felt this title would be appropriate because I have the chance to come out with a new musical direction, minus all the pressures and troubles that influenced my previous work. In a nutshell this project is my introduction to the world from a musical standpoint.

I began recording for this project at the start of the year with "Do My Thing' being the first track released, my previous project was deemed a little too serious and ended up being a wrong representation of myself. So with this thought in mind I decided to build this project with the idea of displaying all the components and experiences that make me 'CR Blacks', as well as making sure that it's distinctive enough to stand out.

I've been very hands on with this project, I've attended all the mixing sessions as well as being present when all the features were recorded. Hope you enjoy this project and note that this is only the beginning - CR Blacks
